It started life as a R80G/S, but there isn't a single piece of that bike that's original. Long story short, you can't buy these (generally), you have to build them.

It looks like you are building one or have built one. What an awsome looking bike. Do you have a picture of what yours looks like as of today?

HPN makes bikes like this. Not sure if you can import them.

At the moment, my bike is torn to pieces for some modifications. The frame is getting modified at HPN right now and I'm in the middle of building a new engine up in Seattle, but I live in Mexico and can only work on it when I fly home for vacation. No pics. Sorry.

I just this week upgraded the charging system to an Enduralast ( Can I now say that I ride a Duke ?? ) but that was really for the two sets of driving lights that I have put on the bike . The sound systems doesn't really suck that much juice out of the system ( it dropped from 13.4 ish down the 12.6 ish whilst riding ). When I flicked on the lights it went down to the 10"s .

Again I will do a complete write up for those that are interested .. but again .. no new holes in the bike except the bottom of the Top Box ( I did inherited it with a hole in the tail section where the Amp for the Sub is now ) and I can return it all back to stock very easy.

I have just moved down to a small country town ( last September Sam Worthington came to town to do some shooting for his new movie .. and they need a back drop for a town that looked like the 1970's and they chose Nannup because it would only with a minimum of effort to modernize it to look like that ) and it was either this or mate with my 1st cousin ,,, and he wouldn't be that happy with that.

Can't ever find any good unexploded stuff out there.....only expended 50 cal. / 20 mm cartridges. Did stumble across a dummy warhead nose cone and a rocket motor though....

Life is like riding a bicycle, to keep your balance you must keep moving.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved. Hell, some of the places I’ve been there weren’t even roads!

Oh, I dunno, I can spot more than a few bits. But your point is well made.
