picked this up with a k100rs on sunday. crashed with front end damage (bent fork, fairing, rear subframe tweaked, etc) been sitting in a garage for a couple of years. motor turns over and shifts through the gears.this pic shows the parade side.

GS bent forks = bent frame

Be sure to check the frame! More often than not, if the forks bent, the frame is also!

A quick check; put a straight edge on the gussets on either side of the head tube. They were flat from the factory.

Check the backbone with a straight edge - the horizontal tube under the gas tank - it also needs to be straight, not bowed.
