Did either the UK or Germany have police RSs with that big orange patch on the fairing? Am I just dreaming? Whatever the case, good looking bike.

The Motorsport models had the orange bit, lots of rumors that these models started off as a cancelled police order, there was also a rumor that these bikes had blueprinted engines, but who knows...
Uk police only used RT fairings, (i think) either with 1000 or 800cc engines, usually with wire wheels, even on the Brembo bikes

Those tires appear to have too much tread. Please ship that bike to me and I will wear the tread down to the proper level.

That looks like an interesting tire. I have run Conti's in the past, but never tried the "Go" tire. I just received my new Pilot Activs, going to mount and balance them soon. Working on carbs right now. NICE bike, Rob!

Sunny and 70 here today, so I figured it was a good time to take the Old Battlewagon out for a spin.
Jeez, I love riding this thing! ![]() ![]()
