the pictures were taken in october(I think) 2010 at a vintage bike show in Luckenback Texas. It is an annual vintage show and I would imagine if you could find that club they could tell you who owns the bike.

I like it! Very imaginative, clearly well thought-out and showcases some excellent metalwork. I presume the battery is in a cavity covered by the gas tank. Really wouldn't fit inside the football-looking thing (that could be where the wiring/fuses are?). Anyway, well done says I.

That makes two of us at least that have some taste around here. But you are wrong about the wiring harness. The custom made wiring harness can be seen in the original post #3465, I think. It is visible next to the drive shaft.

The holes are still outside of the engine case at that level in the area occupied by the starter and crank breather

Cheers

Your arse was about to hit the pine plantations as you made your way into Mt Gambier from the Victorian side. You were heading due west at the time.

The thing its not a motorbike.................it's an artifact whose function is to get attention to satisfy the ego of whosoever built it, I doubt if it ever gets ridden as a motorbike.

IMHO etc etc

Well ... it meets my definition of a motorbike.

Two wheels , an engine that self propels it and the shitter falls over if you don't put your feet down when stopped.

As for ego ... what the fuck do you think this whole site is mainly about ? ...

Why is it that bm' owners feel the need to add extra roundels to their bikes ... so the whole world can see from any angle that they ride a bm'.

So I'll put you down in the ' don't like it camp ' ... fine by me. Oh and ps , learn to fucking quote , it's not like it'll kill you and post up pic's of what you've built. Not paid someone to build for you , what you have built.

What are we allowed to modify? And what are we permitted to do?

Jeebus, not addressing anyone in particular, but why do people think it's their business what someone does to their own stuff? You don't have to like it, but you don't have to tear it down either.

I'm sure somebody out there thinks I should have my balls cut off for what I did to my BMW, but saying it to me would be another thing altogether.
