Colors

I love the color brown that you chose to paint it. I see a lot of people with perfectly good bmw original brown strip it down and paint it black or gray or blue. I love the rich 70s brown. Is that a BMW color?

I think it's a sort of Orangish Brown or maybe a Brownish Orange.

I'm not a fan of cut down fenders or Chrome Plated valve covers but over all it's a nice looking bike. I hope you enjoy it and get many miles of smiles from her.

If you aim the headlight at the road instead of the sky it'll look like the thing actually gets ridden!!

That shade on the headlight makes it look like it's stoned. Otherwise nice work.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that caught that - great build, needs the eyelash gone though.

Love the color.

No right hand mirror?

CurlyMike:

Nice bike, but I guess you don't care about that Escalade merging towards you from your right rear.

Don't matter, not enough turning radius to execute a swerve.

But my real beef is the back end of the engine, that needs dealt with some how...and the block-off plates look goofy. Bringing the top cover down and back in a smooth curve looks great---as long as it all blends.

poor guy, puts his heart into that pretty bike and all we do is harsh on him..

I don't care so much about how it looks. Safety's my thing. Not having mirrors on both sides is a real handicap.

And bar ends are so cool...not to mention if you're going to go with the cliche of the pod filters you may as well. Some of the small round black ones on billet stems really do look good...then put a convex glass over them.

But it's a cafe. It's a styling job. It isn't about going farther than the local pub where you stand around and look at bikes. You can't ride it far, or in the rain, or particularly safely. But none of that is the point to enjoying the thing. Do you really think you'd wear a dorky full face helmet on that?

Damn Mike, I love it! That is very much what I was looking for, when I was making my bike a Cafe. Things have changed, but I very much appreciate the aesthetics of your bike. very nicely executed! Bravo Sir!!!
