Came across this at a university today. A students old project. Frame rigged up with strain gauges to measure the stress on a frame with a tow bar fitted. Motobins donated the frame and looking at their advert its been knocking about since 1995. Amazing what you find laying about.

I love this bike!
Hopefully you "love" your wife more.

If you come across some chrome side panels, with good chrome, try hitting the backs with the heaviest duty primer you can find (they rust) and the fronts with black rattle can laquer. The chrome sort of shines through the black, almost the same deal as using white under a candy color. It looks really good. Not like chrome, but not like Avus black either. And put a safety cable on the right one.

Thanks John.

The GF is pretty happy with it ... Was thinking about converting it to a R65RT .. but after looking at a few pics she is definitely in the café mode and making her all SEXY .

Looks like it!
What are the mufflers on this bike? The cone looks very looong.

It supposed to be a short hot ride (100 F out today) to take few photos to put up for sale, but it became a long joy ride. I guess she is staying ..... as now,

Can you tell me where you got it?

First Post and a breather from the baiter and baitee(s).

Trying to post a pic, be patient, my 3rd bike bought from Micheal Krauser 12th Dec 1973. On her 35th birthday a 400km ride to Strahan Taswegia.
