First Post and a breather from the baiter(s) and baitee(s).

Trying to post a pic, be patient, my 3rd bike bought from Micheal Krauser 12th Dec 1973. On her 35th birthday a 400km ride to Strahan Taswegia.

H'mm did I do it?

Anyway 220,000kms so far and going like a train! Other bikes have come and some are gone but not this old darlin', bike is cleaner now but basically as you see it (if you do) it will never be "restored".

Regretfully, you may be right !

Looked at your link but can't fix it. Hopefully someone more knowing will chime in.

I picked it up at Flatracer.com. But now I see it for about $90 less on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-MONZA-FL...052b6d&vxp=mtr

Getting some love

Have been enjoying my R80ST.... after re-building my son's XS650 last winter I finally got to give my ole girl some love. Not finished yet, just enjoying the riding... then I will have to getback to the powdercoating of the rear racks, crash bars, and sidestand issue....

I sure appreciate you giving me the link for that- they look a wee bit different, but for 95 bucks less, not a big deal.

I was hoping that there would be another supplier out there somewhere - 269 shipped is a bit steep.

You can also get them now from VonZeti.com, but they too are from the U.K.
