Here is my 1985 R80G/S PD. Modified engine with a Siebenrock power up kit to 1000cc. Has a modified exhaust and runs a HPN 43Litre tank. WP rear shock and internally modified front end.

This is about 100miles east of Innamincka in Australia.

Sweet ... we have a lot of the same mods. I need to get some round covers, they look real nice on the G/S.

Tell us a bit about how you did it -- the wiring, the LED holders (what kind), etc.

The leds are individual leds you find in cheap stereo equipment. Availabe at Radio Shack. The white female plug used in the G/S dashboard was used as a base for all the wires, basically just stuck the wire in there and then taped shut. For the generator light, I used a real gen light bulb to get the right resistance right for the charging circuit.

This '74 was beautifully restored by Chris Hughes/ Motorcycle Classics in Spokane.

It makes a great addition to my '01 1150GS.
I had no idea you were the lucky bastage that stole my motorcycle, er, I mean won the bike.

My favorite paint job of the S.

I got the 100S after totalling my GS in May. I was not a big fan of the yellow when I first saw it but it's growing on me.

It'll get the black/silver smoke treatment in a couple years though.
