Here is a pic from sat. rode about 350 miles in NE TN and SE KY, motorcycle heaven

This was a stop at Barren River park, that has substantial flooding.

Last time I was there the lake was about 12 ft below normal pool.

Projects a lot further behind schedule than I'd like it to be. Fist shake down run today after a few unforeseen setbacks but worth the wait. Just need to do the cosmetics now and a few detail parts to fit. The engine is a gem.

Well, heres my project-bike with it's latest engine installed and most of the farkles in place.

After last years nightmare with the R90 engine that was, "Freshly Rebuilt by my local BMW Certified Mechanic". I installed a 79 R100RS mill, freshened up with 1977 BV Heads. 9.5:1 Slugs, Niks, main bearings, etc. This engines a killer! Loll!!

I'm relieved that this project is finally done but it's truthfully one of the best handling and healthiest stock-displacement Airheads that I've ridden to date.

I just finished the 500 mi preliminary break-in and as soon as 'Spokes sends the gauges home, the "S" fairing goes back on and it's off to the Airheads tent at the BMW National Rally.

Dang, Ducnek, that one really does it for me. That's the embodiment of simple beauty.
