1983 R80RS restoration
This machine was origianlly an R80RT....Pretty beat up but good rider. I discovered this machine could perform well beyond most rider capabilities, ceretainly my own. It deserved another life comensurate of its heritage and longevtiy. The R80 is definatelty one of the smoothest shifting airheads on the road. Chrimson Flash is one of these smoothies. This restoration is comprised of the origianl motor. Its frame powder coated gloss black, snowflake wheels powercoated Icebox White, lower fairings from the RT, upper fairings are from two RS machines to get it right, clearshield windscreen, new shocks and of course the paint is single phase Torch Red. The hadlebars are from a K75 for a less agreesive posture. It is a striking machine to see and a joy to ride. Long live the mighty Airhead.

1981 Custom R100Hack
This machine is awsome. Custom built triple tree and originally set up for Mexico. The rig is solid and drives true. Striking to see and a blast to ride. It's a pain to get anywhere fast .....draws too much attention at the gas station. Ural side car with polished gas can, powder coated ammo box, custom driving light, R100 is configured with a police box rear seat. It absolutly screams with delight. Long live the mighty airhead

1984 R100GS The Best!
What a Machine! One of the best machines and set up BMW ever produced in my opinion. Swiss Army knife....dang near bullet proof. The R100GS Airhead will always be the center of my stable. I love this bike. Long live the mighty Airhead.

I have a short video of me riding the '36 Zundapp.
If anyone wants to see it, what's the best way to post it?
