Here are some pics of my prep for Dakar 2010!. Mr Safariburg seems to be stealing all the limelight ,so i thought i better jump on the bandwagon!!!

This is a prototype jacket that i have been working on with Sprint Designs,we are onto our 3rd test jacket. It is a lightweight breathable jacket for riding in hot weather.

Looks fantastic Rallye, great paint combo.

Have you made any more mods to it for Dakar, or it is pretty much ready to go out of the box?

its pretty much a standard 690R,they need a bit of fiddling with to get ready ,but nothing major. did a little bit of work on the suspension to suit my weight etc and added a bit of nav/gps/irritrac/sentinel bits too but thats all.

excuse my ignorance, but I thought there was something about 450cc and under in the Dakar now??

the organizers backed down from their 450cc limit,even Despres ,Coma and others will be on 690's .
