I think that happened b/f most people got there, but I guess that's a technicality.

I think it was just a case of someone getting bored on the pavement and looking for an adventure.

Venue was great, really enjoyed the bands! Awsome riding. Love riding this area. I say "this area"
because I'm posting from Todds place. We got in a bonus ride today, it was great but unfortunately mostly in the rain. Were gonna get out tommorrow as well if his bike holds out.
Definitely the best rally I've been to.
Hope ta see some of you at West Fest or certainly again next year!!!

Hey- that was us! Glad to reconnect! In fact, that goes for everyone, really. We did a great job meeting a LUDICROUS number of totally cool people on this trip- but a miserable job of getting names/numbers. I was the guy with the green Triumph and the crazy girlfriend (Amanda!).
Hope to see more of you guys as often as possible!

This was the 1st rally I've attended, but certainly won't be my last. Except for the rain and Sundays world-class hangover, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect trip!

Great rally, everyone. I'm sitting at my in-laws' house, about 100 miles from home right now. We rolled in late and tired after nine hours with no rain and no brutal sun.

Interestingly, somewhere around Pennsylvania we ran into Cigars and Scotch on I-81, and fell in line with him and his buddy (whose name I never caught) for about an hour or so before they went their own way. I've never seen him around home, even though we only live about 10 miles away from each other.

My wife and I went on KnyBanjo's Friday morning hangover ride, and almost made it. Here are some pictures:










Basically, that whole set of photos above is from when we were waiting on the first group we had lost, about three minutes after the ride started.


Our next rest was provided by Eeickey, who conveniently picked up a hole in his rear tire:

A couple of guys split off to do a bit of singletrack, giving us one more photo stop..




Unfortunately, our ride ended a bit after that with a 20 foot lowside slide down some freshly graded gravel. I'm in pretty decent shape, but Jenn's knee is in rough condition. I'm pretty sure the bike landed right on it before sliding off.


After that, I spent most of my time with the Adventure drinkers at area 51, staring up at the tarp as it filled with rainwater.
