Where'd you all go? I'm in the process of breaking in new rings, so I'm stuck local.

Bear cave or something... South (name of big hill) something, down to Aberdeen, back to Blackfoot. Resizing pics as we speak.

There you go, thats the one. Yup, tried going around the butte but there still a fair bit of snow on the North (?) side.

I think we should have a meet / greet (and eat!) sometime up in IF- get all us ADV'ers together at some restaurant and talk bikes.

That's for sure. I've been riding mostly alone for almost three years now. Have a good friend, D-Man on ADV, in Pocatello who's great to ride with. That's it.

I've seen a rattlesnake every time I've been out to the desert around Big Southern Butte, and that is many times. Hang gliders who launch from the butte have to watch where they land ...

D-man here, I take up the slack in Poky, south and west most of the stuff down here is still mud and snow so I have not been out much yet.

I would be cool with a meet, any where, most any time would be ok with me. would like to bring the wifey so any place besides a burger king type place would be good. not familiar with good places in IF to eat I will leave that to those who live in that hood.

I would second the ride Tony and I did in Mackey was awesome. the most relaxing and fun ride I have ever done.

later
D-man

What we need is somebody with a vacant lot in the hills above, say, the Portneuf Valley, something with a beat up old triple wide, a great view, and no neighbors to speak of. And a HUGE garage. And a really big barbecue.

Know of anyone?

Hmmm.... I've still got some property left up in WA. Find me the property and if I can get my land sold / traded ( and my wife convinced)...

Yes, Fun Spring Ride

I had great enjoyment - after an embarrasing start. I still have lots to learn about my GPS. thanks dorkpunch and wireman
hobbner; sorry you didn't make it
I was amazed how fast you got pic's and comments to the web. I'll add a couple to the ride report.

We'll do lots more, next weekend I have standing kitchen pass for Saturday and I'm off Friday could also do Sunday but weather forcast looks bad.
