Hey I am in SE ID, my buddy and I did a little trip this week end. We went south on the backroads to Bear Lake then to Afton WY over to the Pebble Beach( North side of Blackfoot Res.) and dirt roads back to Blackfoot then home to Poky. It was wet, muddy, icy, dusty, and fun! I'll post picture or two when i get past up load error!

Argh! Forgot about that, Mark! The "Ride of Death," wasn't it? Ha ha ha. Sort of like the tortoise (moi) and the hare. Can't believe you're even willing to acknowledge you know a slug like me.

Good to see the early rides. This week might have been a set back tho.

MAYbe been ok today but pretty good chance we would have been playing cards in the camper. Weather web says rain all day.

Tomorrow is suppose to be great but for 2 days of travel and the 200 bucks it was going to cost each for 1 day of riding we didnt think it was worth it. maybe the week after mothers day around the 15th still not baking hot but hopefully better weather.

Went riding yesterday -mistake

Mistake because I didn't ask anyone to go. It was great! I thought I'd have to stay pavement so didn't ask. Rode along the Blackfoot river to Soda. Went around one mud hole and there were a few spots that were less than perfect from moisture. There was actually dust.
Came back on pavement - that was not as bad as usual because wind was from south.

I know him-he's a good guy.His family has a condo in Ketchum, and they come up fairly often.Since he's retired,he rides a lot more than I do.He probably knows our area (central mtns) as well as anyone.
He has been known to ride to Idaho from Steinbeck country on dirt.

He's welcome to ride with me anytime.

I could've sworn I saw you at Rupes yesterday...

No riding for me, I got my friends Vulcan mostly put back together and running, and got my forks ripped off and dissassembled. Hopefully have them back together for next weekend, my bro and I are thinking about riding up to Bone, out to afton wy, and back on Sat depending on weather / fork seals / etc. Anyone want to go with us?
