It took me 2 yrs of searchin CL to find a decent Corolla AllTrac wagon. It was worth the effort. I can't remember the last time I hoped we'd get alot of snow but I'm hoping for it this time around.
I'd post a picture of it if I could figure out how.

Cool ride, you actually found one that hasn't rusted into itself just yet.

I agree. YET is the key word. Same thing applies to the CAT's predecessor, the Tercel AWD wagon. I had one of those too. GREAT friggin car that was impossible to get stuck. Especially in light of it having 6 speeds including the creeper gear.

I joined the club, I think. May need to see what the judges think.

2014 Subaru Outback, Twilight Blue, Black interior, Premium Package with winter package (heated front seats), and the best part? Six Speed Manual Baby!!

Took forever to find the bloody thing. Just got home, pics tomorrow!

Best Full-Size Lines of the Decade, IMHO.
Wow. Even my wife wants to trade our little hatchback for that. Awesome.

Of course I've been very pleased with my '05 TSX that is now substantially over 100K miles and running just as well as when it was new.

I doubt you would go wrong with one.

The first of the 2012 Mercedes E63 twin-turbo wagons are just starting to come on the used market. That is all.

I love the BMW wagon. We currently have a Volvo XC70 and I think that is the best snow wagon there is out there. We also have a Subaru but last year we had so much snow that the scoobie turned into a snow plow. The Volvo would just keep on going....digging itself out of any mess you can think of.

A really good car for snow, and gets about 24mpg with my wifes heavy foot doing the driving....I get about 26.

Looked hard at the new one, but it is too much SUV and not enough wagon. Wish they had something like the BMW or the Merc that had AWD, but then the reason I like those is because they are low to the ground and sporty.

If you make a sport ute short enough...

is it a wagon?

This is getting pretty close, I'd say:
http://www.wired.com/autopia/2013/11...slideid-110811

Looks to be shorter than the current Outback design (not a true wagon since '09).

I could even settle for a bit more aged E55 AMG Wagon.

Well, I wouldn't say its made of unobtanium but the whole car was hard to find. As for mileage, it had 220k on it until I changed the gauge cluster to one with a tach. Now its got 156k.
Thanks for posting the pic, mi granite state amigo.

Interesting - whats market for an expensive oversized WRX?

Is there room for 4 real size people in there?
