BOIKE333, we never did plan a big bike ride on your trails last year. We'll have to make that happen this spring when its nice and muddy! Did you ever find my license plate?
My route was as follows:

I85 S to Atlanta; I75 S to Tifton, Ga; Rt 319 SW to Tallahassee; I10 E to Jacksonville; I95 N; I26 NW; I77 N back to Charlotte. My start/stop point was the Kangaroo gas station at I485 & Rt 49 on the west side of Charlotte. 1035 miles on Google Maps.

Does anybody have a sidecar or know a friend with one?

I'm passing this on from facebook as I can't think of anybody right off hand.

**URGENT**
Does anyone know of someone that has a motorcycle with a sidecar in South Carolina or North Carolina around the Clover, South Carolina area. A gentleman who's in hospice wants one last ride. This would need to happen ASAP too.

Wish I had one or knew someone, but I don't. That sounds like a very nice thing to do for someone.

I know a local friend-of-a-friend you has a sidecar rig and I was just beginning to make arrangements, but the Facebook page now says they have already identified a local rider with a rig. They have sent his phone number to Sam McGinnis. This appears to be handled.

Ride on Sunday?

So where are we with the off-road/DS ride on Sunday? Is anyone still up for it?
Weather.com says it should be near 60 and dry on Sunday. That sounds like great riding weather to me!

I don't think I can get out both days this weekend, so if I can get in a dirt (or mostly dirt) ride on Sunday, that's gonna be my preference.

I'm still in and looking forward to it! Just tell me where to meet everyone. I'll try to get there by 1:00 pm, but if church runs long i might not get there until 1:30. I'll do my best to get there asap.

I'm going to have to be tentative until Sunday. I'm planning on entering a mountain bike race Sunday morning, so riding in the afternoon depends a lot on how that goes...

I think "everyone" is just you and me now. I don't know about the places to ride, so can you suggest somewhere? I will make sure tomorrow that my bike is ready to go!
1:30 start will be fine with me.

Very cool, I'm considering Columbia to Savannah, Atlanta, Richmond VA, then back to Columbia. But its about 1150 so thinking about trimming it a little.

I spent two semesters in college in Tifton GA. It was horrible. I felt like Captain Willard in the opening scene of Apocalypse Now just watching fan blades spin endlessly in a crappy apartment. Almost went insane. Also, they give CRAZY expensive speeding tickets there. Like $800 speeding tickets.

Glad you made it through "The Reading Capital of the World" safely.

I know NitroRoo is undecided, but I thought Boike333 was in? If no one in that area is going, then you can come to my house. Now that hunting season is over, there are some areas we can explore around here. Probably not as good as the trails Boike333 led us on, but we could still have some fun.

Boike333 is out, according to that post. Is there anyone else who can ride tomorrow??

Riding from your place is fine by me, Andy. Although maybe that's too far for Roo if he decides to join us....?

If Roo comes, he can lead us around his area, if not we can ride here. Either is fine with me. I just need to know which by Sat night so I can load the bike for the morning if we are going south.
