Very nicely done Joe! Looks great. I will spread the word with some of the guys I road ride with. Most ride HDs so it will probably get some use in that crowd.

I will make sure to remind them it is for SALE and not rental...

Joe was kind enough to loan his trailer to his "friend who goes to Southern Maryland" one time when the friend wanted to transport a V-Strom.

This trailer pulls very nicely and it was easy to load and unload my fully-loaded V-Strom. Very nice trailer!

Very nice trailer, I'll spread the word. Heck, if I have $1924.95 I'd make an offer on it myself.

My trailer is just like that one without the upgrades. I think what you rebuilt there would be one heck of a deal at your price.

Good luck Joey. I remember when you were restoring it. After you sell it, you might consider the HF folding trailer. Very cheap, and gets the job done. I even got rear ended by a semi with it on and it was fine. Saves a ton of space in the garage/rented area. Ugly as sin though. But with your magical abilities, people might not even know it was a HF trailer.

So there's a guy in Houston interested in my trailer if we can figure out a way to get the thing hauled over somewhere in that general direction.

Before I dismiss the lead as impractical and wishful thinking, I figured I'd at least post up here and see if anyone had any ideas. Anybody with a trailer hitch headed West soon or know someone who is?

Weekend Ride - Lexington BBQ

Am thinking about planning a ride that will loop over back roads east of the Queen's City, through the Uwharrie National Forest on the east side of Baden Lake, up to Lexington for a BBQ lunch and then continue the loop back around to Charlotte.

Anyone pressed for time could ride either the first half of the loop, have lunch and then head straight back to Charlotte or join us for lunch and then ride the second half of the loop. (Harley riders could just join us for lunch if that is their preference.)

Let me know if you are interested and if you prefer Saturday or Sunday. Looks like the weather will be nice both days.

Numa

You call that a cup? Where I come from that's that's the shot glass you drop in the cup.

Definite maybe. Give me a heads up on what day and where the secret meeting place is east of the Queen City.

I may wimp out at lunch, I may not.

This post has come to no conclusion.

Maybe, but may go kayaking instead.

Any dirt involved on this ride? If so, my answer would be, probably, preferably Sunday.

I can include some dirt/gravel roads or not depending on who says they are in for the ride and what the overall consensus is for "some dirt/gravel" versus "all pavement". Either is fine with me.
