Very nice looking setup! Who makes those cases? Are they KTM?

Thanks Numa. No, they are a brand called Bumot out of Bulgaria. Sold in the U.S. at ADV Motorrad.

Not very much aftermarket stuff available yet for the 2014 Liter-Strom. Twisted Throttle is about the only one with stuff ready. Givi told me that mounting brackets for their aluminum bags may be available in July. The folks from Touratech told me that stuff is still in development in Germany. Don't see anything listed on other sites including Jesse and Adv Motorrad.

Btw, I rode with a fella at RDV who was on the new Strom 1000 and that is a beautiful machine. I am trying to figure out how to get onto one myself.

Sunday Ride

I'm planning to ride up to Brevard Sunday. White Squirrel Festival is going on this weekend, so the downtown streets will be blocked and bands will be playing all day on the Main Street stage. Lots to see, do, eat and hear in Brevard. Route can be all pavement or some gravel can easily be added. Probably roll out between 8:00-9:00. If anyone is interested let me know and we can set up a meeting place.

I got to see one in person last weekend at a dealer in Maryland. Also got to sit on it. Awesome looking bike. I may have to purchase one myself.

I sat on a nice black DL1000 New-Strom adventure up at RideNow last Saturday and want one badly! They had three new 1000s in stock iirc.

herrserj and I are out on Hatteras Island currently but will be looking to ride next weekend. A week without riding is killing us!
