Once I know Boike's schedule, I will post a Survey Monkey survey so that everybody can let me know which days work/don't work for them. Hopefully, we can find a day that works for everyone wanting to attend. If not, we'll go with the date that works for the most riders.

For those that intend to camp the night before/after the ride, I will also include a question for voting on the campground. Once that has been decided, each rider will be responsible for making his/her own reservations/arrangements. So far,I intend to include three campgrounds in the Survey Monkey voting as shown below. Do any of you have any other campgrounds close to Hot Springs/Asheville that you want me to include?

> Hot Springs Resort Camping
> French Broad River Camping
> Creek Ridge Camping

If any of you have experience with any of these campgrounds -- or any others suggested -- please feel free to talk them up/down to influence the voting. I don't have any personal experience with any of these locations. Just looked for campgrounds in that area via Google.

Numa,

This maybe slightly off topic but I've heard many inmates talk about this:

Not sure how far we can go in few days but could be more of an expedition ride......... Just for thoughts.

I have been working on a trip up the TET trail through NC up into VA and then back down the skyway/ parkway. Camp out each night. I figure 4 to 5 days total. Looking at fall time late Sept/ October. Anyone interested? I will start a new thread if there is interest... :-)

I am also planning to ride TN and MS sections of the TAT again sometime this year. I have done it twice, great time. Anyone up for this? Camp at state park each night.

This looks amazing. Have you run across a North or South Carolina equivalent!? Even riding up to VA it seems we could knock it out in a weekend. Might be better later in the summer when things are too hot down here.

Usually do hiking trips, but my goto hiking buddy is getting married this fall and all his vacation is being used for that.

I've been looking at this route as well, approximately 550 miles of off/onroad mix... Easy to get to from Clt as well..., would be epic... This October I am headed to Moab and Asheville is hosting the first East coast Overland expo Oct 3-5! Planning on riding and camping for that so that may take up most of my overnights... Maybe....

Sounds like a plan, 2 votes for Wilson creek, rustic camping / wolf Creek assault!

I'm thinking about heading out to Back of the Dragon, straight up 16 in the morning or down to Heath Springs (or something) around 521 /97 beyond Lancaster if anyone is interested... Will be my father's day present... Just slabbin it... Probably head out around 630.... I'm thinking

Well there's only so many single-cylinder 400cc Dual Sports out there.... A DRZ seems too obvious. My guess is a 1980 Suzuki SP400.

Hi!

I will miss this Thursday's meeting, will have to make a future dinner. Meeting my brother Friday morning early in Lenoir to ride some of Pidgahs dirt roads. Sad to say, first real ride on my XR of the year.

Looking forward to meeting y'all
