Adverb - if you can contact Josh from the ride today, tell him I'm sorry if I lost him at 218. I made a left thru a yellow light and then a quick right. I Waited where I thought he'd see me, but he must have gone by before I turned around. I waited there a few minutes before giving up and going on my way.

Great ride today, by the way. I'm really considering a new seat on the WR and maybe even getting the suspension upgraded to handle my weight, instead of buying a bigger bike.

We had just made it back to the main road. I replaced my petcock a few months ago to a non vacuum, gravity style one. It has a much shorter reserve time. I hit the reserve about halfway into our ride and evidently that means I need to get my arse to the gas station. I normally do, but thought I had more reserve than that!

I had the Gopro running almost the whole ride. When I get a minute I'll edit it and put it up. It's not my favorite thing to do though, but I'm trying to learn to get better at it.

I'll take a spot on that trailer if you don't mind. Just let me know where and when.

Bummed I couldn't make it out with you guys but my Sunday mornings are usually booked. I hope you knocked down some of the weeds on the loop! Btw Scott, did anyone go through the ravine? Last time Trey and I went through it was muddy and neither of us made without incident!

Looking forward to hitting wolf creek soon!

BOIKE, Gotcha covered, will bring the rotopax.

So tell me about this rocky downhill into Linville? Is it a road? A trail? Can a old fat man riding a pig get down it?

It is not the destination, it is the ride!

We're actually gonna go up it to make it more interesting. I have no doubt that you and the pig can go up it. It really isn't that hard, but it is rocky and you have to do some line selection. If anyone is not comfortable going at it I understand, and there is a nice loop that we can meet on the other side of that runs up to the BRP and over 221 for a couple of miles. That is the only spot that we might split the group, everything else is maintained gravel and pavement to and from.

I'm looking forward to this weekend's ride. I had the Uly out yesterday with the knobbies to see how they did at highway speed. Not great, but tolerable. My street tires will feel like they're stuck to the road with glue after riding in the TKC's.

In preparation for this weekend, I'm having a small maintenance night Friday evening. A coworker needed a place to change his oil, and I've settled the garage enough to do some work in it. (Renovations aren't done, but the remainder is just paint and storage.)

If anyone wants to stop out after 7pm, I'll have the doors up, some tunes playing, and some cold beverages available. Probably will have a small bonfire going as well.

Send me a PM if you want to stop out and I'll send my address and cell #. Otherwise, I hope to see y'all Sunday.

Enjoy!

Where does one jump on this trail? It's got to be close to the house so could be good for those "I only have an hour but want to sneak out" rides.
