My wife got me a glass making class as a gift. I got to keep what I made.

The class was in NJ, near Somerville. They shut down for the summer, but I think I'll take some full day workshops in the fall.

Upon deciding to move a gate post prior to completing our fence to make it a bit wider, I discovered the fnecing company had drilled into our sewer line with the auger when they installed it 7 months ago.

Never showed any signs of leakage that we saw, so hopefully the dirt/cement kept it somewhat closed this whole time

Amyway, on to what I made. It was 1 am by the time I could get home to do anything with it. Lowes was closed, nowhere to buy polumbing materials that time of the night. A quick trip to walmart, bought a $0.97 Cinderella place mat and some silicon. Dug it out, wiped off the pipe, siliconed the edges, and zip tied the place mat around the hole for a 24hr patch for showers the next morning until the plumber arrived.

Managed to have only a slight drip with the shower running full blast.

And I don't even own a KLR....

If you like working glass, Wheaton Village also has classes along with the glass museum and shops and they are advertising free admission for the month of July.

This is located in Millville, Cumberland county. NJ

Very good! But, why do you need a plumber?

No time. Had to be at work the next day, no daylight to fix it. SImple enough but there's only so many hours in a day....

paddlewheel water pump

proto version

this was a test,,it produced 6.5 lbs. of head,,

this is the next prototype,,a hose will coil in a spiral from outer edge to center inlets,,picking up water, compressing air in the spiral, then forcing water out one end.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I was insinuating that in my own jury rigging, duct tape and baling wire using, hillbilly methodology, that you had already completed a proper and permanent repair. Carry on.

Ha, yeah, gotcha now. Eh, something about sewage just screams "get it done right" to me, but otherwise I'd be on the same page.

Decided to I wanted to build myself a trailer to pull behind My KLR.
So I did.

Then the Grand Daughters called while I was putting it together and asked if I wanted to come over and ride bicycles with them. And that got me to thinking, I should make the trailer capable of taking it with me. This way I wouldn't have to drag the Diesel Pickup out just to go over for a bike ride.
So I added that too.
Total cost about $100.

And I built all the crash bars, pannier racks, Panniers and other stuff on the KLR too. Even built a rifle scabbard holder into the rear pannier rack.
(Just in case the SHTF while I'm still alive.
Which is looking like it might.)

Figured out I'd Powder Coat all the tubing my favorite color.
So I did!
