That's awesome Joel!!! Look's like it was fun had by all. Congrat's on the ContourHD....seem's a very fitting gift for someone that does so much for the LA rider's. Wish we could've made it.....however, we did get to enjoy 5' of fresh powder in Mammoth!

Hope your shoulder continues to heal well!!

Happy Holidays!!

Bill

That is hilarious.....as we were driving back from Mammoth on 395 yesterday I saw a yellow Ford SuperDuty with a trials bike in the back heading north....I thought it looked like Tahoeacr's rig.....small world.

spot donor

whoever brought the spot, that was awesome. you gave more, a lot more than the minimum....

best of all, that could be a life saver, a vital tool for off roading/adv riding...

thanks!

thanks!

I'm loving the adoration, but... I gotta come clean.

The Spot 1 is on sale @ West Marine for $99 and you get a $50 rebate!!!!
So I was well within the rules... They are a great thing, and I really like mine, if you've been thinking of one I highly recommend it, for $50 you can't go wrong.

And Rob, you didn't get the bar code or the receipt

I did warn you guys I had the best gift

Excellent Aaron..............

My wife and others say that I really need this . What people don't realize is that I usually don't want to be found. And when I'm found, they usually won't like what they find

No seriously, it was an excellent gift and I send peace offerings to Terry and Marylin. If it wasn't for Leslie telling me to take it and no one could take it from me , I'd have another new D606 sitting in my garage right now

glad you got that rob (leslie will feel better everytime you go out); i believe that every ride, there should be at least 1 person carrying a spot! or up it by a notch, a sat phone like dannyG..

You don't "have" to turn on the tracking feature ya know! But it's very cool and the wife really likes knowing I'm still alive. (though she does often give me grief when I drive in circles for a hour or two)

I think she really likes knowing I'm on my way back on Saturday so she can shoo her boyfriend out...

I've been stuck with it pretty far into the styx, and it does give you a nice boost of confidence that things aren't "that bad" yet, and you can always push the button if things get worse. course then you gotta stress out that it worked which might be worse than just limping out
