i was at rei this afternoon and the salesperson said that the gen 2 was recalled from their shelf and stock. checked out rei website and they're only selling the gen 1......something fishy here? anyone knows something?

I was just talking to someone about the racall yesterday. He sent his in and they sent him a brand new one. He was beat up too. But he told me that they really did not give him a reason for the recall. I am sure someone will post up the info on this site. Ben
