I believe so. I have guys stop and ask about my 1980 XL250S asking if it's the original 23" wheel. Its all I'm used to, I really like the larger front wheel. I guess mostly because it's all in used to, the only bike I've owned/ridden

My boss is in the market for a Wee and is very interested. I know almost nothing about wees and he was asking me about it. Good deal?

Thanks
probably trying to get back the price of his farkles on a $8200.00 MSRP bike. Can get a better farkled wee for a lot less with a few more miles. Happy Trails makes way better bags for a wee than Givi. Those motors go forever (ask Wibby). I bought an 07 DL 1000 a with 6800 miles on the clock for $3800.00 two years ago.

I'm amazed that with the big dent in the tank that it pulled $4k, but ebay can be funny like that.

It's rarely ever been that "funny" when I have tried to sell something! Holy Crikey!

I actually ended the sale of a Volvo early one time because I felt bad about how high it had been bid up; it just seemed unfair.

If you find two or three people that really want what you have; it's easy for the prices to get out of control.

Me too! I had a friend whose dad had one that he raced. He had a tricked out frame for it and all kinds of cool add ons like a water cooled head. He only let us drive it when it was stock like the one pictured before he put all that stuff on it.

Looks cool, low price and miles. What's the catch?

"Branded title"

A branded title means a minimum of a 20% price reduction, so that seems about right to me for a bike with a backyard paint job.

That dealer buys bikes at insurance auctions, mostly in CA, and does most of his business on Craigslist.

Bent frame, forks, etc. Buyer beware. I might buy a branded/salvage car or truck but I don't think potentially risking my life on a two-wheeler is worth saving a few bucks.

I disagree. It could have just been a lot of cosmetic damage, such as scratched/dented tank, broken plastics, etc that added up to more damage the the value of the bike. I had a salvaged F650 Dakar that had been dumped on gravel causing all kinds of damage and the PO's insurance totalled it. I got it at a sweet deal and rode it to Alaska. It was one of the most dependable bikes I ever had.
