Not a whole lot of them around in the States, same engine as the XR650L, better on highway, not as dirt-worthy and not as much aftermarket support. I think they only offered them here for 3 years.

Better off getting a XRL, unless you REALLY like the looks of the NX better.

Seem's pretty clean, and low mileage.

Clean KLR

See a number of KLR's this color, but they've always been so beat up, I didn't realize how they looked when new.

Owner of the pub I just started working at is looking to sell his bike. He brought it to work today and holy shit was it sexy.
Its an 80 or 81 (I forget but I think) CX500. Blue. And CHERRY. no exaggeration. Mint. Purrs like a cougar. He let me ride it today and I wish I had money for it. I told him about the website to post it on here so hopefully he does it soon. I think he'll find the right buyer on here rather than craigs. He's asking $2000 which I think is crazy low for the condition. If he doesn't post I'll get pictures and post it on here myself with his contact info

Not a bad deal if you are into loud pipes or have a bird in your muffler.

Some of you may recognize this bike...which has been sitting inside Alberta Tire & Wheel for at least the last decade:

I'm partial to the '80 Honda XL250S which has been mothballed inside their shop as well.

It is probably sold by now (or possibly a scam - it has only one photo for what should have been a frequently photographed bike, and that one photo has no plate and no context for where in the world the bike is.)

I see $1000 worth of used-value parts just glancing at it.

But, CB750s are one of my favorite bikes, and there are tons of people who would agree. There aren't many old bikes that are better supported, nor that there are more parts available for. You can't really go wrong. People frequently cut them up for cafe bikes, or even choppers, so finding one that is unmolested is really rare. This one has obviously been molested so badly that it should be pressing charges.

This all said, the market sucks right now for finding 'deals' on SOHC CB750s or even just parts, which is why this seems far underpriced.
