Wayne- I had to dig through my photos cause I knew there was another of her. The "Librarian" look.

And let's not forget the other shenanigans that went on that weekend.

Possible move to DE

Soooo. I currently live in NJ and work in Philly. I am tired of my commute and all of NJ's bs laws and taxes; so my family and I are looking at a move. Delaware and Pennsylvania are our potential destinations. PA does not really help with the Taxes issue much but they are still better and they appear to be good on Motorcycle and other laws (pew pew) that I am interested in. Delaware is real good on taxes and currently looks to be pretty good on the laws they govern that I am interested in. I was hoping to get some feed back from riders in Delaware. I have questions like:

Where do you ride and what type of riding is available in DE. I currently ride single track, double track, adventure / street / touring. I live about 5 minutes from Wharton state forest.

How do you feel about the motorcycling environment in the state? Is the state good / bad / or indifferent to motorcyclist's? Can you register converted off-road bikes as street legal?

Basically just looking for info because right now its looking pretty strong that we will be moving to north Delaware somewhere around north Wilmington. I know I am going to have to drive to get to some off road tracks. Possibly even back to NJ but I am hoping there are nice places to ride in DE also.

Lots of financial advantages living in DE v NJ. The only off road riding in the entire state is the C&D canal. We go to PA or MD or further South to ride in the dirt.
PM me for more info, or join us for a breakfast get-together! We are a friendly bunch.

Do you have kids / what ages?

Schools are a bigger driver than any other determination between de and pa.

I have one little one. The areas we are looking at in DE are supposed to have decent schools but I don't have family or friends in the area that have small kids. We are looking in the north Wilmington area. We are looking at the Concord high, Brandywine high, and Mt. Pleasant high school districts. Any opinions on these schools and there feeders would be appreciated.
