Yeah I beat him yesterday too. Granted, he red lighted but I didn't soooo winner winner chicken dinner I did some starting line mind games all day except the last race. I love Dr. John Bartkovich who I raced in the finals. He is actually my moms stomach doctor. Didn't catch him til maybe the last five feet of the track.

All the bruthas that bet sit in one section of the bleachers. They bet on every race. Usually only a dollar or so but every race/every class. Figure 400ish passes a day? Anyway as I was leaving the winners circle this brutha man is yelling at me. I'm thinking aww shit its on. Time to run somebodys ass over like a deer and pull out some UFC shit So I go over to him. He says "gdamn man you comin next week?" I say "not sure , why?". " Man you made me a messa mutha fuckin money tday!!" " Especially when you beat Farmer, you gotta come back next week!!" Some of these guys really pay attention. They write down what you run in your time trials. They write down your reaction times. Then they win on what appears to be the underdog.

Thanks Steve. That was the first time in quite awhile. My first year of racing I ran in bike trophy which is basically a beginners class. I won like 10 times. Several years ago it was a weekly thing, ran for points and everything. Tried for three years to win in this class. (pro bike) Went to the finals one time and they had to stop racing because they have a curfew of 1am due to an old folks home in the area. They almost stopped us this week due to rain. Doc John who I was racing in the finals yells at the owner, "let us run real quick" pointing at me. Charlie says, "ok have at it". And we did, best race of the day I think. It had to be one of the closest for sure.

I know I know, too long, did not read I don't care I'm still a bit excited

I read it Hack! Congrats on the win! Maybe we need a RTE and RTWHR (Ride To Watch Hack Race) combo ride! Of course if we show up and you don't win you can blame it on one of the Toms.

Thanks Gary. Not sure I will race anymore this year. The main reason I wanted to go this past week is because it was the last points race of the year. Meaning, all the top dogs were there still. Some of them don't race after the points stop. If I was going to win in Pro-Bike I didn't want a freebie.

That being said, if the ADV crew did wanna try it out that would be a blast. Doesn't cost much to race and anyone can do it.

Thanks Mike (you know which one you are) and Jerry for your donations.

I had two DDB hats made. I will be selling one to the highest bidder (Bid will start at $25.00) and proceeds will go to the MS ride. Pics later.

Thanks so much guys. So far my motorcycle friends are the only ones who have donated and I could not be happier.
