Wicked 2-4-2010 Ride Report

Not once the whole day did we cross paths with any other riders out on the trails. This RFBK thing is some of the best riding I've done, and riding familiar trails once a week sure builds skills!

This was our group for this Thirstday 2-4-10. Purelick and a new member, welcome Tuff Enuff.

This was our warmup loop

First trip up to the top

top of the mountain was in the clouds

looking down on Bouquet reservoir

Tuff Enuff on the DR. Today was all about team "SUZUKI"

looking down Lookout Trail, can't tell how steep it is

same place looking up

same trail takin farther up

Rowhers trails are well marked and rated
The RFBK members always start the day off with the ADV pledge of allegianceplace your right hand over your heart, ready begin

stay tuned for the next installment of the RFBK, or better yet, join us!

Rich

Ben,

You will like it out there some fun stuff. I might head out Sunday morning early (depending on the weather) I need to be home early so I'm thinking 7:ish home by 12:00. Anyone know what time the little cafe right before you enter the park opens up? look busy that Sunday morning but that was around 8:30

Ben,
U may already have the map. It is on the back side of the CTUC Angeles Forest map. If not see the ranger in the staging area, he'll have them for free or you can get them on line at California Trail Users Coalition, but they're not free.

May make it out there myself. Keeping an eye on the rain. Could be fun!
