Looks like you guys had a blast! I'm doing a little local ride of my tomorrow on my new ride:

I am LOVING this bike! Sick ass horsepower. Way more bike than I imagined. Did a shakedown run on some single track in Big Bear a few weeks ago. This bike will crawl some pretty nasty trails at walking pace, then blast off to almost 100MPH on the pavement at the crack of the throttle! Even with offroad gearing! I had it geared at 14/48 which seems just about a perfect compromise. It will cruise along at 80 all day long as long as my ass can stand it!

I might just mosey on over to Rowher next week for a little day ride.

PS, The Oklahoma credit card Richi has is way cool!

Sweet Ride Guys.

Nothing screams patriotism more than getting rowdy in a National Forest.

Maybe next time we can get a guided tour by that Ranger.

Yeehaw!

I ditched the clutch lever and have the DRB setup on my 300. I'm waiting for Rekluse to release their modified mountain bike brake in a few weeks. That way It will still retain the clutch lever.

Last I heard the release of the new system has been put off indefinitely. Heard straight from Rekluse.

I completely ditched my clutch lever all together and haven't looked back since I did. Bought an oversized brembo lever with a 12mm plunger off eBay for $80 and then had Deering Industries here in LB fab up a new hose for $60, and voila! Maximum rear brake lockage with two fingers on the lever. Gives the ultimate in control while standing or sitting. Next to the Rekluse, it was the best mod I've done to the EXC.
