Thanks for all the info, the MT43 seems to have GREAT reviews by everyone, a bit pricy compared to the shinko, but not too bad, and having too much traction is a problem i would like to have

If you see this bike out there VVVVV, thats me.

Thanks, Ron.

30 psi street, 15psi dirt. 20 in the dirt is like riding on ice

I like that squirmy low perisher in the city if I get wild hair up my ass I can flat track a corner and get that sidewall wrinkly and make a nice dotted line of my wrong doing
8psi at rowher is a little low for my taste, I get uncomfortable when I hear that BONG followed by the sound of spokes settling if not the hssssing of the snake that just bit my tube.

I run 12ish.

I'm in for Saturday

Shit I just ran the CDR with TKCs with 30/36, I was on a GS though.

No wonder I thought I was going to drop a load everyday.

150Ron ... air that shinko down to 15psi or maybe even 12psi with your small bike..it will be fine

I ran the 244 on my XR500 and NX650 at about 15psi and it worked pretty damn good it would slide a little on the fire roads but alot of tires do with that dusting of dirt on top of hard pack..the 244 I always thought was a decent all around tire.

Now the 244 front SUCKS!!

Thanks, i will air it down, i know the lower the PSI the more the tire will wear on the pavement, so tried to sorta find a middle between the 30+ street psi and the 12+ off roading psi, and did both front/rear at around 22-25, figured it would be good that way, and i would not need to air it up/down all the time.

but i will definately take your advice and air it down some, i do like the shinko, and the price is pretty good too

Are you saying that with a smaller bike, the 606'S should last longer? even on pavement?

my buddy rides a drz400s, and hes got the 5.10-18 rear 606's, and it is wearing pretty damn fast on his bike, great tire tho, looks awesome too.

I rode on the street with the 244 at about 22psi on my big bikes...30+ seems over kill...or you have been listening to the cheap ass KLR owners on how to milk the absolute max mileage out of a tire...over inflation is not good either

your bike is small and does not weigh much..the 606 should last a few thousand miles EZ
