Nice solo ride, buzzed the EXC 200 today. 6: 15 start, 9; 30 finish , with 1 stop to tighten front fender. Till next time

Took the wife to Rowher for the first time today.
We unloaded on the Bouquet Canyon/Artesia Spring side and rode the fire road up to the top. She didn't wanna head back to the truck, so we ended up riding trails all the way to our house in Palmdale. She only went over once after snagging her bar & brake lever on a tree branch. I gotta say that for her 5th time on a bike I was pretty impressed, even if it was only a 10-15 mph pace.  Saw one guy on a just as we were heading from the fire road towards Palmdale. Looked confused as all hell about what I was doing. |

I'm out of town- riding in the Sierra (awesome) and just saw in the paper that there's a fire in the Angeles. Any issues for us and the trails? Hope not but maybe I'll rip it up extra in Tahoe just to be safe.
