Nightmare Gulch in the El Paso Mountain range, near Redrock Canyon. Now closed for the season until July 1st. I had a blast as well.

Actually, they do have a gate and signs at both ends of Nightmare Gulch. The rest is open all year.

Had a great day out there yesterday other than some traffic. I was riding down one of the main road from the top of the ridge heading back to staging area one, just cruising (slow) lol. A guy passed me going pretty fast but seemed comfortable, made me feel a little inadequate but I do not like hauling as up there on the roads. About 5 or 6 turns later I come around and his bike is down and he is laying under the front bumper of a jeep that was coming the other way. He hurt is leg, was lucky the jeep was going so slow. Helped get him going again and BS'ed with him later at the staging area. Cool guy, hope he heals up soon.
