Why dos anyone give a flying fuck about this storm closure. It will open again soon and lawsuits having nothing to do with this, I guarantee it. There's not a judge in the county that would hear a case about some fuck wad who was riding beyond his/her limits and piled themselves.

The desert is just another 45 minutes up the road.

Stop whining and go ride..............

Where is the Desert?

And is it trails out there, or just wide open?

+1, trails get torn up if you ride immediately after a rainstorm, hence the closure. It rains for maybe five days out of the year, so what's everybody so angry about? Tons of open area riding in the desert.

Take the 14 West to the 5, go south. When you get to the 405, go south until you come to the 10 and go west. When you hit the sand you know you're in the desert. Just ride anywhere you want when you get there. That blue thing in front of you will be the River, so no worries..........................

you rode your OHV and got hurt. it's your own damn fault.

and there's signs everywhere stating that riding is dangerous. no one made you ride. you chose to ride.

fuck. this pisses me off.

I was looking forward to riding there this week.

They just finished dealing with one from a quad rider tragedy... and now a recent motorcycle death has them scrambling. It does have a huge affect.

Rob, I'm going to respectfully disagree with you.
Personal injury lawsuits have and will be a greater threat than we could imagine in regards to legal off road riding.
When federal agencies are threatened they have and will do the easiest thing...
In most cases that is simply close an area.
It doesn't matter if it's a crash or asbestos, arsenic, etc. Areas are getting closed due to the liabilities the federal agencies "feel" they will be liable for.
This is all based on "studies" that have been done by the lowest bidder.
Ride on, while you still can.

I didn't assume a God damn thing... Facts: they are just concluding one tragic and costly incident from the semi-recent past and very worried about how the most recent one could play out. They don't NEED Rowher as an OHV Park... and if they decide it's just too risky to maintain it as such it can be closed... or dumbed down even more.

Words right out of the FS mouth. The only assuming here is yours. I don't have a dollar but feel free to shove Rob's dick back up your ass.

It's amazing how Rob's dick always pops up on these forums.
It dos'nt matter what the topic is, Rob's dick is the universal answer.

Sounds like its gonna be patrolled more thoroughly and will proably require an adventure pass of some sort.

As nice as they make it sounds, i thought rowher was fine as is.. minus the fences. id prefer it to be maintained by volunteers.
