Ya know what sounds better than a big KTM twin through Akra's? The same big twin with no exhaust. Loud too.

Look what followed me home.

So I gave it a home and tucked it in for the night.

Got rid of one tank bag and now have room for that. I think someone lied about being out of room.

Closet space. This goes in garage space.

PO said it had never been offroad and, as clean as it was, I believe him. I changed that within minutes of leaving Waco. It's certainly refreshing to be throwing a small bike around offroad again.

DR350? Looks like electric start? That'll be a nice, reliable ride. Easy to work on too.

Did the buddys' buddy bike get traded for this? If so, I hope you approved the swap with Joe first.

Eh? Buddy's bike?

Nah, I bought it for pocket change. Decided I wanted something I can put real knobbies on. Thought about 21/18 wheels for the SE but this was cheaper.

It's '97 DR350 with 2100 miles on it when I bought it.

I took her out for a spin and to see what the river was doing. The rain has the Brazos up about 2 feet but there's no flow. The lake looked a little higher than that yesterday.

Prior to that I stuck a drz lense on the back and removed 3.8 lbs of subframe from the subframe. How they thought that design up I'll never know.

Actual knobbies would help but sliding these around in the mud does make for fun times.
