You ain't lived till you've levered an 1150gsa (with a full tank of gas) out of the mud by yourself.

Nice bike Rubberduck!

You're in the right forum. Might want to go the the Roll The Bones rally in October. Full of dual sport riders hitting all the good stuff. There is a class on the day before I've heard. Here's the link to the RTB4 thread here at ADVrider.com

SOG, Any thoughts on the Karoo 3's?

Which is a full day longer than the big blocks lasted. Still, at $200+ for the rear, I'll think I'll keep looking. Thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunately I am deploying late Aug or Sept. 1st ride on the bike was off CR- 32 in Copperas cove, liked it a lot so I've been looking for more places to ride around the area! Total n00b here so any help and guidance would be appreciated!

Cav? Pilot?

I can send you some good roads, I lived in Cove before I PCS'd back to Rucker. Let me know what you consider a trip mileage wise.

RubberDuck, here is some ShadySmurf would tell you, 32 to 34, rt on 1690, left on 127, left on 281 thru Adamsville then rt on 46, left on 39 next rt on 73, rt on 42, rt on 572, left on 1047, rt on 257/533, rt on 535 turns into 101 back to 581. From there I leave it up to you.

P.S. the gates can be pushed open with the front tire.

Will it really? At one point I was building a Texas ADV noob route around Cove to give a taste of what following SoG around might be like. I was thinking of making a par time for it to see which groups of people they should ride with .

Duck, I know a great road where you can launch that F800 into a ditch if you ever want to get rid of it . That's how I ended up on a 990.

I am suggesting "color coding" on the RTB thread on TWT. ;) RTB cares.

Haha, I can think of some colors for that system. Might not be appreciated though.

I vote to treat them like T-Rex at RTB 1...They will come back asking for more, or they won't come back....
