Oh, you got a tax-deductible ranch vehicle to maintain your property/herd. I'm sure the local popo are glad this thing isn't street legal and not capable of hitting a ton (without a lot of free fall).

It has a plate. Matches the one in my head. 2007 WR450F with a bigger tank and a Rekluse clutch. This thing has " bust my country ass" written all over it.

A wr450 should be perfect for that tactic. ;)

If I get a new bike it will be the R but this article is still impressive.

WANTED: CENTRAL TEXAS ADVers

Just so everybody is on the same page, this WRF isn't an ego bike for me. Far from it. When I told Aaron I had bought it he told me that he had sold his 450 to Josh days before "but that's OK. I can probably keep up with you on my mountain bike." lol The youngsters keep my ego in check just fine . ;)

This bike is really a recognition that if I am ever gonna to do one of the BDR 's KilLeR is just too porky for me. That is my limitation. KilLeR would do fine.

So, within its limitations, I am going to Adventurize the Yam for BDR type trips. No single track. No off-road parks. Just trying to open up some avenues. Not that I have the time for any such trips . :(

But I am excited about it. First thing? Try to get it to fit my gargantuan body.

I hear that. It's why I picked up the dr350. No need for a high strung race bike to do what you're talking about.

Don't know of a better bike for the money for your purpose. Very much like my purpose for the WRR but I might need to step up. You could invest $14k+ in a new KTM 500 EXC that is more bike than you could ever get your money's worth out of, or just do what you're doing for less than 1/2 cost. And prolly end up being held back by some n00b on a 500 EXC somewhere down the road. Or worse, have to tow the guy in.
