I just called the Loco Coyote. Their message said nothing of NYD. Its a Friday so I'm guessing their normal hours of 4:00 to 9:00 are good.

Someone call this weekend when a actual person will answer the phone.

Hey, you don't get to my size by skipping many meals. Might need a snack during the day to keep up the energy levels.

They already get Monday - Thursday off. Its a small business, they might actually want the money to pay some bills. I'll be out of town, but if someone else can give them a shout when they're there, we'll know for sure.

Hey, I thought we were eating with Ghost's parents anyway?

You in Mr2mch?

Don't have any other plans so far....so why not....mmmmm ribs
...but I still wouldn't bet on it.We've been goin there for a couple of years or so now & they seem like folks who would be doin family stuff. They open at 4 on Fri so a ph call after then would get em.
Even if they are closed,I bet we could find another hot food distribution facility to hang at.(a good one)

You're right on both counts. Now that I think about it, I wouldn't be surprised at all for them to be closed then. Any person that would open a restaurant on a little CR surely thinks a little different than most other business people...

And I sure we can find a another great dining option where ever we'll be riding.

BTW, the number I called earlier is : 254-897-2324

I don't know if she'll be insulted or relieved.

Ah, I gonna go out on a limb and guess there is going to be a MC with a bow on it this year. Congratz to the lucky rider!

I came to the office to get a check from the FEDEX guy. No check , but he did have my new front tire.

Unfortunately, he didn't stay to install it

Not brand new, but new to us...the choices stand as a DR650, R1100GS, and R1150GS...The DR is the cheapest but she does not think she would be happy with it. The 2 R bikes are within $500 of each other at $6000 and $5500. The R1100 belongs to a friend and I have been doing the maintenance on it, so I know it. It has 2 sets of panniers with it and only 18,000 miles...

BTW...I have a HF tire changer and would be glad to help ya change em

Those sound like good deals to me. Of course, I know nothing of BMWs - I can barely spell it. Knowing the prior owner and the maintenance history of a bike is a considerable benefit. You can never tell how these things were treated when buying used, unless you helped maintain them. Of course, its always a good deal when they include the farkles. Those things can be expensive.

I may take you up on that nice offer. There is a guy up here that has a shop and some KLRs and I'm planning to get up there and have him coach me on some farkling. If that falls through, I'll give you a shout. Regardless I'll be there on Jan 1 at, ugh, 9:00 am - new tires or not. As long as the bike starts I'm good-to-go bikewise. Now if its snowing, sleeting, or raining I may rethink. To be honest, SOG going down has me a little spooked...
