I am not looking bad for Sunday. But more like 90%. Somebody plan something and I will make it if I can.

TXjames has some sort of race through the streets of Morgan thing on his little bike but I don't know what day that is.

The weather is supposed to be nice on Sunday - forecast now is only for a high of 92. I might be taking the new girl friend to the LC for lunch then.

Bones, Worse comes to worse you and I can head out west from Georgetown to the Llano area, plenty of roads to get lost on out there. Working tonight, I still have your number, I'll give you a ring tomorrow.
OK, no worries

Sunday looks best for me.

I am always happy with Loco but that is a bit of a poke for the down south fellas.

Except schizz. He doesn't seem to mind.

How to Properly Bed In Brake Pads

1 - Order new brake and clutch levers
2 - Install the brake lever such that it doesn't fully release after braking
3 - Do a test ride with some moderately aggressive stops thrown in.
4 - Plan to only make it about a mile before "Oh Shit!" moments begin. (wasn't part of my plan)
5 - Pull over and fix the issue.

I recommend doing this on a dedicated ride and not on the morning commute

Disclaimer: this advice is horrible, don't try it

92 degrees!?! I might put a liner in my jacket, that will be awesome. How far north do you guys in Georgetown/Austin want to go? Shouldn't be that bad, you guys are like 30-45 minutes from me, I do it all the time .

We could always push west if you guys want...I know of a big water crossing we could try again on the way . There is always my lovely Sandy Creek road that way too, I just never find a good way to come back after that road.

Looks like I will be blasting in from the west Sunday morning, whatever the decision.

Have you ever tried CR309 off of 71? It goes directly into Kingsland, great road with a view of Baby Head.

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there.

Nope, I've always gone north when I hit 71.

I think we did 307 last time. Then went up and hit park road 4, which was cool, but lots of traffic. Also a couple of cops who looked at us funny but didn't do anything.

I'm good once I get to Burnett, I'll check out 309 next time and look for something between Kingsland and Burnett.

dwj-Donnie and I will be leaving Mom's Sunday morning (Dallas) and riding CRs to the border. Will drop in at LC for lunch depending on when we clutch out.
