How are the county roads South of Llano between 71 and 16 (CR 315/308)? I remember reading that some of you guys like those. Would they be two-up friendly? I'm still without hard parts on the S10.

Thinking about heading out toward Inks/Buchanan, then cutting over and heading down to the Enchanted Rock area.

Shady's garage now offers wheel balancing.

Got my CJ oil change kit too....just need a filter. And tire. Was on hold with TJ's for 15 minutes before I hung up.

Cykel. Those roads are scenic and great but I am afeared of sand one up much less two up. Lots of 1-4 inch deep llanoite sand. Me no likey. Two up I would go to Gillespie county . All those goat paths are paved just as scenic and womens love Fredericksburg.

Thanks for the heads up...will avoid those county roads. We'll probably end up around FB, but I'm hoping to stay outside of it as I expect it will be a zoo.

Oh. Just saw the road numbers . I was in a different place. Sorry. Shady rode those real recently as did Rusty. I will let them comment. I think they'd be ok depending on the crossing.

On the map I see a few roads that seem to bypass the crossings. Are those private / inaccessible?

Hows the S10 do with a pillion? I still like those bikes.

Cykel, I had no problem with my rig Saturday on 308/310. I would suggest Welgehausen as a great paved road along with others in that area.

If your gonna do 308/310 it would be a shame to not do 315! Unless we're talking about different counties, on my phone in Austin.

Nice looking used 990s at lone star right now:

TJ's had a used Dakar for those looking.

OK. Who is riding tomorrow? I have a feeling I won't be invited along on the two-up ride. I have a bit of a borrowed TKC rear tire to kill.

It's very well set-up with fine kit and very well cared for by Stephen.
