Whats that CR number for the road with the big ass hill on it? I know that is vague but I also know a couple of you know what I'm talking about. The one that is usually rough as shit as well. Putting a LC route together but realizing everything I know well is more Kempner/Lometta/Llano.
So far got Kempner gas station to bump gate (CR127)- South on 281 for a touch to pick up CR101, skipping camels and zebras I think in order to make a lunchish time- N on 101 to the 530's to get across 84- The road between 535 and 555 looks like it might be nice- Once I'm north of 84...well I'm just guessing really. Got a RTB 1 rally direction sheet I'm going to try to use for that if I can. But I think that was all Lometta area too.

That would suck...isn't there a bunch of water on the hill road that I'm thinking of? We would be hitting that after lunch if I find it.
Or maybe we will head east, and help James demo out his new house by riding bikes through it .

I have clearance from shady and ghost.....the camp-out is on for shady's Last Ride next weekend. So far all we got is all day Saturday, September 1st ride, the Ghost Ranch for grilling and camping Saturday night, and a ride to LC for Sunday lunch.
There is a hotel for is non-campers about 8-9 miles away in Gatesville. I have my tent coffin so I'm good either way. Soon as I get back with ghost I will post up more. We'll have a cage or two for beer runs and to take drunks to the motel. I'll have ghost check on rates but I remember $75. Leave your 'tude at home. Bring your lies and your jokes and you'll be welcome. ;)

Just booked two rooms (me and schizz) at the Ramada on the loop at Gatesville. Best I could do was $81+ ttl. As of right now, plenty of rooms available. If someone wants to split one I might be up for that. I snore and don't sleep. Sounds nice, huh?
Dove hunters and family reunion at the Chateau D'ville Best Western. There is a smaller motel with cheaper rates on main but I know nothing about it. Ghost said he thought Andrew T stayed there once and didn't die. Most will be camping.......... but I won't be.

The Gatesville Inn is more or less across Hwy 84 from the Best Western
Their rooms are $55 a night for 2 beds. Looks like a fairly nice place but I've never stopped there.

I'm gonna meet up with Joe and Kyle and their crew in the morning somewhere around the Gap. Maybe getting to the Gap Store about ten and hoping they get there by at least 11. Don't want to miss them. lol . The routing got me too excited. Big Ugly cranked. Wheel fell off but....the bike cranked. Trying to lure ghost out, too. Gonna be dirty but if ya wanna get out, pm me.

I talked to JD. He's up for moving to the cheap motel if everybody else wants to head that direction. We'll send ghost over to check it out.
