It's absolutely a sick bike - Twalcom and Stefano have been competing with it (in some form) around Europe since 2008. The two premier events that it competed in were the Erzberg Rodeo in Austria and the Campionato Italiano Motorally in Italy.

Stefano also runs the Adventure School - Italy. (Google translated for your easy reading pleasure ) where you can learn how to ride like he does.




In regard to the bike - most of what you see on it is available in North America via TwalcomUSA.com. The big engine guard, QD Exhaust, Bitubo cartridge kit and rear shock, replacement chain, sprocket and pinion. Some items are coming such as the replacement front and rear Excel rims with hubs.

The bike probably has ~$10000 worth of stuff on it including some customs items that aren't available for purchase...

Damn your bike looks good!
Been drooling over the pics for a while and have a couple of questions!

that front mudguard you'r using, is that a twalcom part or did you make it yourself? What about the license plate holder, that doesn't seem like it looks like you took it from another bike and bollted it to the rear, could you share more info onthat?

Again.... The most agressive 800gs i've seen!

Hey Rob! What's the deal with the front rotors you guys are selling. Are they floating ones like the stockers? Straight bolt-on to the stock hub?

I think when you starting looking at all the parts, changes, and mods you would be very close to that number. Twalcom parts alone is probably half of it. And if you threw in labor, even if its your own, its still a cost.

Just to be clear. Twalcom has new HUBS with kit on their website and you will be selling these as well? Or is the kit a set of excel rims and spokes only?

Griz,

You just counted $600 for the cartridges. Those are the new full-on custom Twalcom shocks that have 60mm(?) more travel and are fully adjustable. I think, just maybe, they'll be more than $600. So you're probably even closer to your original number. And you haven't counted labor to install all that shiznit.


If they aren't, I'm getting me a set!!!!

while the bike looks simply amazing, I wonder what is its advantage over the KTM super enduro, apart from fuel consumption???

It's a race bike that's completely tricked out. All the parts are the very top of the line, and tuned by professionals to operate at peak performance. A stock KTM 950 SE, while pretty damn awesome, is still just that: stock. It's still not race ready like this F800GS. This F800GS would smoke a stock 950 SE.
