To steal your quote from the beginning- "fuck yeah".
Really enjoyed reading that, sheer unpolluted goodness. Thanks.

All I can say is BALLS! I feel like I just went back 30 years in my own life.

I found your ride report last night, just before going to bed. I had to stay up way too late reading it. I was hooked right from the start.

As I read your account of your travels, I tried to imagine whether I might be as courageous and resourceful as you at 19. I don't think so, but I wish I had been. Hell, I'm not sure I am now at 28.

Sweet ass adventure on a sweet ass bike. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent report. You put to shame those of us who think you can only go touring on the latest product with all the gadgets. You are a true rider!

It's amazing what you can do when you don't know you can't!

Great ride report, really captures the essence of adventure. You went, did a lot of crazy stuff, made it home alive. So much for anyone who says, "I would like to go but I don't have a real touring bike."

Really Enjoyed the story! Brought back memories of my youth and the crazy stuff we did that seemed like perfectly normal behavior at the time. Somehow the problems & difficulties always worked out somehow and ended up making great memories. Hope to read more of your future travels, I enjoy your writing style.

Great report! It reminds me of when I was 17 and rode my first big bike, a '64 Honda Super Hawk, across the country. It was 1967 and the interstate was far from complete. US66 was the way. Thanks, Jim

That report was fantastic! It's got me thinking about doing a similar ride sometime in the future...when the kids are older
