Did you read the post above what you just posted? I just bought a TE449.

I'm still going to fireroad my S3 though. It works just fine for that. I'll probably still take it on stuff people say I shouldn't.

Since when does a wee-strom have offroad dna?

It's based on my old Sv with an inch more travel, higher cog and way more plastic to break lol, frankly I found my Sv more capable than any strom I've ridden lol.

Keep up the mods!

You should check out the new TKC80 in sportbike sizes!, serious knobs on those puppies, may need to lift the front fender a tiny bit though.

I'll have to check out those TKC's. The Scorpion Sync's are wearing too quickly. 2500 miles on the rear and it's almost done.

I found a 1.6 gallon aux tank meant for a F800GS that I think I can adapt to my rear rack. This is next along with some TKC's.

Just found this thread. The AdvTank meant for the F800GS delivers fuel to the stock tank by hooking the supply line to the vent line of the stock tank. So when the fuel level drops in the stock tank, it develops a vacuum, which in turn pulls fuel from the advtank. The advtank is vented to atmosphere, so when it is dry, it becomes part of the natural tank vent system.
With this system, it is possible to have the stock tank at a higher elevation than the advtank.
I'm sure it would not be too hard to make the advtank fit bikes other than the F800GS. We designed it with that in mind.

Thanks for the reply. I just dropped a wad of cash on a 640 Adventure R, so that tank will have to wait a bit for my bank account to recover. I've got it bookmarked for when I start getting the S3 ready for a run up to Alaska.
