Chelan County, late season
The sun peeked through this afternoon. Temps rose to the mid or upper 40's. The roads were more or less dry. A perfect day to ride! Only paused for a couple of photos, but had a great ride, pavement and dirt.
![]() ![]() Good stuff. Saw a few other bikes out today, on pavement. Hope you are all getting the miles you want, despite the cooler temps. Regards, Guy |

Hey Guy, nice Scrambler. Is that 2nd pic up the Icicle?
I miss Chelan County. Mick

Wow, nice dirt bike. To say that I am jealous is an understatement. Had not thought about a Triumph Scrambler before. Nice!
![]() Got out and rode the dirt bike yesterday way over here on the West west side of Puget Sound at Green Mountain despite the 41* temps.

Is that scrambler as comfortable as it looks? Very nice.

Thanks guys. I am very happy with the Scrambler. Is it a "real" dirt bike? No, of course not. It's a 900 cc twin at about 450+ pounds. An old style, all-around bike that can handle some dirt roads and gentle trails. I've done several 400 - 500 mile days on the highway and it's pretty decent for one-up rides, even over several days.
Not sure how much more riding I've got ahead of me this year, it hasn't snowed here in the lower elevations. Yet... I don't have any heated gear or grips, so this cool weather riding imposes limitations! Ghostrunner - that second photo was taken from up above Peshastin. Regards, Guy |

No, certainly not a "dirt" bike but quite the capable dual sport. I can ride a KLR650 into some precarious areas and I bet the Scrambler would do the same. Very cool. ![]() Oh, and nice photo too. Beautiful country over there.
