Cry RIP Johnny Hernandez aka GSA Ghost

I just received a very disturbing email from a mutual friend of Sanjoh and myself...

Johnny Hernandez - GSA Ghost

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Oscar,

Not sure if you are aware of it but Johnny died in an mtcy accident a few days ago. My thoughts are with his family, he has a 4yo.

FL man killed in motorcycle accident
11/25/2009

A Florida man is killed after losing control of his motorcycle here in Macon County on Wednesday morning.

According to the Bryson City Post of the Highway Patrol 37 year old Giancarlo Hernandez of Boca Raton, Florida was traveling north on Highway 28 when he lost control in a curve just before the Cowee Baptist Church.

Hernandez’s BMW motorcycle reportedly then went left of center side-swiping an oncoming car before hitting a second vehicle and crossing the center line again before stopping.

Reports say that Macon EMS transported Hernandez to Angel Medical Center before he died.

The accident occurred just before 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

The drivers of the other cars were not seriously hurt.

RIP John My heart goes out to his family...

Man I hate hearing things like this. I didn't know Johnny (RIP), but I'm sure he was a hell of guy and I'm saddened that another rider has left us. My sympathies goes out to the family and friends of Mr. Hernandez.

Oh, no.
I never met him in person but I knew him through another motorcycle forum.

My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.

Damn, Oscar and John, so sorry to hear this. We were just goofing a few weeks ago in the S Flatistan thread about Ghost and Oscar being called 'posers' by a Hoggette

RIP, Ghost. Prayers and wishes to the devastated family

Cry

Thanks guys and gals, this is happening too often and in this holiday season no less. His family must be devestated.
I didn't know Johnny for very long, but we have ridden together on several occasions and he was very nice guy. He was proud of his 1200 GSA that he had powder coated all black including the panniers. He and I were talking about our Alaska experiences when we were called posers by some biker chick. I am glad I remember him laughing out loud.
