Best Shield
I am 6'3" and have tried two different aftermarket shields. I started with the tall Parabellum (22"). After a few weeks and 1,000+ miles I was very disappointed with the results. I then researched and switched to the tall Aeroflow. What a great improvement!
The installation took 40 minutes and was a fun project. The Aeroflow has been a great addition to my bike and 3,000 miles later I couldn't be happier with the results. If you have any questions, please get back to me. If you want the 22" tall Parabellum, I will make you a deal $150.00. Good Luck |

wonderlichblablablaba whatever has a new screen for the 1150. It is two piece, adjustable both fore and aft and up and down. It also has a large vent created by the space between the two parts of the screen. The vent is there to reduce turbulence. I tried it on a GS at SC BMW. It was somewhat better but not enough to make me buy it.
I cut two inches off the bottom of my screen and it reduced the turbulence enough that I will just keep the stock one. |

Hey Fish
I don’t have photos of the mod. All I did was follow the exact asymmetrical contour on the lower portion of the screen cutting two inches off. Make no mistake about it, it is definitely better but far from perfect. Before the shieldectemy my GS was down right miserable at freeway speeds especially in wind. Now it is tolerable. If you want to test ride it just let me know, I live in Santa Cruz and work in Scotts Valley. |
