Spanky and I did a 6 Day trip to Baja. We had a great time and saw some cool stuff like Coco's Corner, we stayed at Mike's Sky Ranch and Roosted on the beach all we wanted.
Some of these pics are very close together, this is so Spanky can save the ones he wants
The Route

Spanky giving the Mentos. Here we are loaded up and ready to drive to San Diego. From there we will spend 4 Days in Mexico.

Me

Driving Along Hwy 101

80 MPH shot in San Diego

My friend Todd rode with us to the Tacate Border

Over the sholder shot

Another Shot of Todd

Spanky giving the Thumbs up after we got into Mexico

and ME

Random Ocean Shot

Self Taken at 75 MPH

Creek Crossing at Mikes Sky Ranch

Paul at Mikes

Spanky at Mike's

Spanky in front of our Room.. O ya the Rooms have no Keys.. honest people around here.

Lovely Pool Shot

Spanky adding a Redline Power Sports Sticker to the window of Mikes

taking pics of the guy taking a pic

Another 75 mph pic

We reach the first beach in San Felipe

Spanky going to get his feet wet in the sea of cortez

and ME

I am loving the over the sholder shots .. thanks Bryce for teaching me that

again

we reach the best beach in the WORLD.. Free to stay, great food, gas, great riding close, scuba diving, and your allowed to ride on IT !! in case your wondering in called Gonzaga Beach

Spanky DEEP THOUGHTS

My soon to be in the Ocean Tent

lovely pics

Great kayaking also

your life is not complete until you have refried beans with your breakfast... I thought it was weird but I ate them.. o this meal was like $4 and it came with chips and cofee..

breakfast is GOOD !!

Frogs are good

Sand is FUN !

in this pic you can see everything of mine is hanging up why ?? because the wind came up when we were riding over to visit coco and my tent, sleeping bag, air mattress blew into the ocean. it was found and brought back by a fisherman. everything turned out fine..

Only damage... a broken tent pole and broken mp3 player

we got to this gas station and needed gas only to find it was closed.. no biggie there was a guy across the street selling gas out of the can..

cool pic of weird tree

Roosting on the beach is FUN !!

LOL. I'm parked just up ahead of where Todd is in my 4Runner. Saw him go by and wondered why he was riding with dirt riders. Keep workin' him, I think we have him on the ropes to add a DS.

Anybody going to be doing the Big Sur camp/ride this coming weekend
that Todd posted up?

It looks like there's decent weather forecasted and lows at night down to
the mid '40's which is not bad at all.

Paul it looks like you had a good time. I'm going down there next month, but I'm doing it on the pig. Looks like pretty much the same route though...

Yeah, is anybody still interested? I'll ride my dirtbike this weekend if no one wants to do this ride. The Renz should be open and I've found a fair amount of new, to me, single track at Hollister.

Hi Todd,

I am in for riding/camping if you are. Will there be a fire pit at the camp site so we can roast some hot dogs and keep warm?

Mike... Throw a couple of those Duraflame logs on your bike and you will be good to go.. When Spanky and I do the overnighters we bring 1 log each and we are golden for about 4 hours. You don't need a firepit either..

Dadd, vicegrip and I will be out riding the renz area Sunday morning. Ive put together about an 18 mile single track loop through the Renz property that is a good workout. 2 laps and your pretty much done for the day if your old like us.
