Interested +2 on smaller than 1200's which only weight, stock, 272lbs.

Thanks for discussing these bikes. I'm riding the 650 this weekend on Steve's dual sport ride, should be perfect for that.

In your defense, it looked lika 0 mph tip over. Those don't count. So you're back down to 1.

I never actually saw what happened. AFAIK, it could've fallen over on it's kickstand while you were waiting for my slow ass to catch up.

edit: Btw, I'm a whopping 140 pounds with a bicycle rider's torso so I doubt I helped much.

Hey fucker I had to help you pick up your 990 back when you were still running those heavy ass panniers, and bringing along a heater, DVD player, canned food, etc... God damn that was a heavy bike!

Oh jeez, now I kicked off a Paul dropped his bike war... See what happens, I pop in here for a few posts and all hell breaks loose. Maybe I'll swing by the Orange Crush and other regional forums and muckrake there while I'm at it.

Attending one or both of these might be wiser move on my part. That way I can avoid the slow death of wandering around the desert with Luckett looking for food and water because his KTM brain sucking DR fused it's piston and cylinder together towing my freshly eaten 525EXC.

And you thought my light, backpack guitar was funny...

A heater? DVD player? Ok, you can buy a good DVD vs my playing has to not suck, I can see the appeal of the player, but still...

are we really going to start talking about picking up heavy bikes ?

If we set a rule each guy buys the other a beer when he has to help him pick his bike up I would be drunk on every ride and you won't be buzzed.

water crossing would count for 4 beers because I had to get my boots wet
