We had a great time and some amazing riding..

The Ridgecrest Area is so fun with miles and miles of trails.

Not 1 drop of rain fell on us when we were there.

The snow that was there was soft and we only had 1 small detour the entire 2 days of riding

NO DUST !!

Massive Traction.

John and I were the only riders on Adventure Bikes out about 40 riders.

There are lots of pics of the Snow but in the scope of things the snow was only about 20 percent of the ride on the 1st day.. the second day had no snow..

I said it on the LA to Vegas ride and I am saying it again.. Next time I am taking my Honda 450x. Its so much more work on the big bikes. I really learned alot though about controlling the bike in slippery conditions. I only had 1 tip over in 2 days of riding in challenging conditions so I am happy with that.

On with the PICS>>

Looks like the Ridgecrest ride was fun!
I just look at the pictures, Bob.
Ridgecrest was a kick in the butt. So much to explore out there. The Kawasuki worked pretty well in the dirt, for a 300+ lb bike.
Great pics, Paul.

Cory - please start a clean thread on this - Its worthy of its own space

Your Lanyard ROX Spanky. I will get it back to you soon though.

Speaking of the white stuff.. It was not cold at all after about 8am, the sun was out and the snow (if you wanted to ride on it) was SOFT) we all did a little powder roosting. ..

I brought 3 layers of clothes. 2 of the layers were straped to the back of my bike 99% of the ride..

Alright... I want in!

I will keep my eyes pealed on this thread although usually hang out here: Central Valley Dualsport Riders

This looks like a bunch similar to what we have in the central valley california. If yall wanna head our way sometime but would rather have a local who knows the area... Er contact one of the other guys on that thread!

Just kiddin gimme a holler and I can give you what little info I have on our neck of the woods.

We are mostly snowed away from all the good stuff right now - but should start thawing the 6000+ elevation stuff in three months er so. Some of the best rides around 10k feet dont thaw till June - those are a TON of fun to hit.

Oh we usually hit Mojave 2-3 times a year some of the guys just went last weekend, unfortunately I couldn't go. If you have never hit Afton Canyon and you like some sand - ya gotta go. Its a blast!

~
