Actually, I don't post near as much stuff here as I used to. It just gets buried in a day, at least it does in the ride reports sections, anyway.

I'll be posting some stuff from our anniversary ride pretty soon, just gotta get it together into some sort of order. Here's a preview...

These perfectly round holes were everywhere, although most of them held water...

Where was this swimming hole? It is not Emerald Pools, is it somewhere on the Yuba?

Tahoe Adventure Ride FYI.....

FYI.....

I did find some interesting info about the Tahoe Adventure ride......

The guy who's organizing it will give some very good prices on the hotel if you come as a group 5+ folks. He also will give you a break on the event with the more people you bring.

If your interested in going just call the organizer, he knows it a little pricey and seems to be willing to help the rider community.

Early registration ends today. $250 seems a bit pricey but $300 sounds worse?!
Fee includes all access to the following:
Saturday evening program with legendary Dick Mann
Nightly admission at MontBleu Opal Night Club
Vehicle parking including motorcycle corral, car, truck and motorcycle trailer
Admission to manufacturer and vendor displays
Welcome cocktail party
Afternoon beer and b.s.
Morning coffee and doughnuts
HQ Bar post-ride cocktails each evening
Friday night beach BBQ dinner
Ride route maps of area
All educational seminars
Souvenir T Shirt
Rider goody bag

Agreed - I am a procurement guy and I can't make those numbers add up. Considering what we got last fall at the KTM rally and such, I'd expect similar costing.

It was a blast!

Dan didn't offer the TE to us, I just saw it in the back and asked him what was wrong with it. He sighed heavily and said he didn't really know, and then started listing off all kinds of possible scenarios. He said "You want it? Get it out of here...please." We took it home for $2k and there was nothing wrong with it. The timing was off and it took $134 worth of gaskets to put the motor back together. Purrs like a kitten, as it should since it only had 680 miles on it

Eric and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary a week or so ago. I still gotta get that ride report going... Anyway, 20 years of being married to me without slitting my throat or booting me to the curb surely deserved to be rewarded so I bought Eric a little token of my love and affection...

We had an awesome time going to get it. We did some dirt on the way back and had an absolute blast. Eric is already riding it like a champion. Can't wait til we get rid of the scary front tire and get the suspension set up the way it needs to be. Oh, and cut the seat down a little so yours truly can ride it, too

The sunrise this morning in southwest Oregon was simply sublime...

We've been having a ton o' fun for the last 20 years and I certainly see it continuing for the next 20 or so. This bike is going to add a whole new pinch of spice to the recipe. I wonder if D36 has a rule against 2-up enduro entries?
